Since VALENTINI cable yarders are very strong machines, using a full suspension carriage (double carriage) for working with them is becoming more common. This way of working, normally used for downhill yarding, allows to get higher speeds, less soil damages and cleaner logs. This carriage type is also suitable for uphill yarding and on flatland.
An important advantage of it is the possibility of working with two independent cables at the same time. This carriage is popular also for thinning, since it allows to use the machine at 100% of its capacity thanks to the double cable.
This carriage is also used in the industrial field for laying pipelines in steep terrains.
